WATERING RESTRICTIONS

FOR LOGAN GATE VILLAGE

Please note: These Restrictions can change without notice

No Watering is permitted between 8am to 6PM

The specific watering days and times in our community were imposed by Hillsborough County, not the District. Other specific restrictions are a mix of county ordinances and the District's current emergency orders.

You are permitted to water twice a week depending on the last numeral of your address.

Odd numbered houses are now permitted

to water on Wednesdays and/or Sundays

 Even numbered houses are now permitted to

water on Tuesdays and/or Saturdays

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO WATER EACH SECTION OF YOUR LANDSCAPE

ONLY ONCE ON YOUR WATERING DAY BEFORE 8AM OR AFTER 6PM

WATERING AFTER LAWN CHEMICALS ARE APPLIED

bulletNot all lawn chemicals need to be watered in immediately, so it is important to read and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
bulletResidents applying their own lawn chemicals should schedule each application to take advantage of their normal watering day and time. You are not permitted to water on any day but your scheduled day.
bulletResidents using a lawn service need a dated temporary pesticide lawn sign from the company as well as a receipt (indicating which chemicals were applied and any instructions from the manufacturer) if watering-in will occur on a day other than their normal watering day or time. You are permitted to water in the treatment within 24 hours on any day after treatment.

WATERING BY HAND

Hand-watering of flower beds, vegetable gardens, bushes, and other non-turfgrass (non-lawn) plant materials can be done on any day if needed; if a hose is used for hand-watering, it must be equipped with an automatic shut-off valve (trigger nozzle) and a person must be using the trigger feature (in other words, the hose cannot be left running).

Please note that soaker hoses, drip tubes, microirrigation emitters and other low-volume irrigation methods can also be used to water flower beds, vegetable gardens, bushes, and other non-turfgrass (non-lawn) plant materials on any day if needed.

WATERING NEW SOD, SEED AND/OR PLUGS

bulletNew turfgrass (sod, seed and plugs) may be watered every day during a 30 day period that begins the day the sod was installed.  This extra establishment period watering must still be done during normally allowable watering hours Logan Gate Village; before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

WASHING VEHICLES

bulletYou may wash a vehicle or boat on any day, if needed.  Any hose used for this purpose must be equipped with an automatic shut-off valve (trigger nozzle) and a person must be using the trigger feature.

WASHING YOUR SIDEWALKS AND DRIVEWAYS

bulletYou are NOT permitted to wash off your driveways and sidewalks unless it's for health reasons. That includes power washing.
